I have time for winter!

Winter is here.  This means you can't play outside.  It is either too cold or to rainy.  Unless you want to be a soggy biscuit I wouldn't advise you to go out in the rain.  And unless you want to be a summer treat, don't go out when is is really cold.  So what can we do indoors? How can we have fun? I made a list of the different things you can do inside. The ones that are red I don't really do much and the ones in green are the ones I do a lot. 

• Read inside.
• Watch TV.
• Get yelled at by your sister.
• Build with Lego.
• Do the chores.
• Listen and dance to music.
• Play a board game such as monopoly.
• Play a card game such as Uno.
• Run around outside like a crazy person.
• Be disrespectful to those around you.

Or if your at school...

• Talk to your friends. (Not in class!)
• Kill yourself by running around in the hail.
• Work on the puzzle.
• Get any necessary work done.
• Be mean to anyone at any time.
• Play a board game.
• Play a card game.
• Rob your teacher.

Do NOT do any of the red things or the police (And me) will be onto you.

Chapter Chat with a housing problem...

This Term's Chapter Chat book is called "Little House On The Prairie". Here is what I think about it so far...

 

I think that the next thing they do in the story is going to be finding a school for Laura and Mary and a job for Pa.  I also think they will help the neighbour and come in contact with Indians. And build the roof, door, windows,  stable and a well. Pa was talking about having one.  I think they should build a dog house for Jack, the dog. I don't think they will though. Jack doesn't get as much attention as he should.

Term reflection

This term was Term Two, and a lot of things have been happening. 

I liked: The film challenge, Toitoi (Mrs Loft should have sent them by today), learning in the making and Chapter chat.

I disliked: No results found.

I would like to see more of: The film challenge, Toitoi and book cafe books.

Chapter chat: I loved when Con is super sarcastic because it brings a smile on my face and a laugh comes out of my mouth. But the end rushed a lot. It didn't say about the flight, or about the hospital or even about the boat ride. In Fred's diary for this week I had to make up a lot of stuff.  

Favourite day: Wednesday week 10. I think that day was best because it was the second day of learning in the making. I did make a bot, scrap booking, mind games and sphero coding and programming.

The blog for this week is to create a cartoon charter in google drawings.

       You can most likely tell which is the original, even if you don't know who this character is, because my art skills are not the best. It looked quite easy to do at first, but it got harder, and harder and harder. But it is good enough that you can tell who it is, and what part of it is what without labels. Over all, it looks pretty cool and I am proud of it.

Grandparents day!

In week 10 it will be Grandparents day. I am not 100% sure that one of my grandparents will come, but if they do, here are a few questions I would like to ask them.

1. How many old people does Grandma look after at work(Grandma works at the booms retirement home in Thames)?
2. How many wheel barrows does Grandad make in a day(That's his job)?
3. When is the next time I will stay the night?
4. How long is it until their birthdays?
5. How old is Grandad?
6. Why did Grandad retire from school bus driving?
7. Did Grandma or Grandad play a sport?
8. What sort of pets did they have?
9. What are some of their hobbies?
10. What schools did they go to?
11. What are their favourite foods?
12. What was their favourite subject in school?
13. Who was their favourite school teacher?
14. Did they have a pet dinosaur?
15. Was it loud looking after four kids?
16. Do they miss the 60's?
17. How much do they normally spend on food?
18. Is Grandma happy her wish of having a big family came true?
19. Were cameras black and white when they were younger?
20. Is Grandad still not allowed to eat too much sugar?
21. But my main question is, is this list too long?
