I'm Very (Not) Sorry.

This is my apology letter written by and elf for smashing a ornament. This elf, however, is clearly not very sorry whatsoever. I also made a envelope for the letter with an address.

More Wrapping Paper!

This is my wrapping paper design. At first I made the Santa, which took the most time. I had him big but then I shrunk him down. The presents were pretty easy to make. I spent a lot of time trying to get Santa's beard just right. I think it looks good and I am proud of my Santa.

The News

Cat Stops Catastrophe!
Written By Shelby Park.

FIRE, FIRE, FIRE! Mog the cat and new local hero saved his family and their home. Although experts discovered he caused the fire, Mog accidentally walked one the telephone calling 999 (emergency service in the United Kingdom). At first the fire department thought it was a prank call, but soon they decided to find the address the emergency service was called from just in case. When they were passing Mog's home, they saw Mog outside with Christmas lights behind him.

Now I am here interviewing the owners of Mog. Mr Thomas, did you ever expect Mog to cause and save you from, a fire?
"Definitely not. All Mog does is sleep and bring in dead mice."
Yes, was your family devastated when they found out about the fire.
"Yes. My wife burst into tears and my kids were about to. Then the neighbours came and gave us a Christmas tree and helped us clean up."
Wow, what nice neighbours. And did you reward Mog for stopping the fire, or punish him for starting it?
"Well, we gave him a nice fancy dinner, however we did make sure that nothing was in his reach, or in the reach of his tail."

Spot The Difference

This is my wreath next to the one I copied. I think they look pretty similar, however you can definitely tell the difference(mine's on the left). I made the bow and stripes myself from the curve tool.

Reindeer Menu

This is the reindeer's food I designed. I also decided to add some of the reindeer's preferences on the food. For example, Rudolph hates tomato and Blitzen loves cheese. Dancer prefers tomato sauce over barbecue sauce.

Wrap Up Your Christmas

This is the Christmas tree wrapping paper I designed. At first the background was red, but then I decided it looked weird. And the trees were bare, so I added some decorations.

Camp Cooking

For our last rotation we did some cooking. We made a potato stuffed with ham and cheese and a banana peel stuffed with marshmallow and chocolate chips. I wasn't too keen at first because I am not a fan of bananas or potatoes. When I made it, however, I realised that there wasn't much actual banana in it. Just the peel. And I decided to make myself try the potato. It tasted pretty good.

I'm over there in the top, right hand corner(sort of) with the blue hat.

Fire

Our second rotation was fire-making. First, some groups went practising with the flint, while others made the fire-pits. First we did the flint practising. Everyone in our group got about five to seven goes except me. I failed and didn't manage to make a spark in two goes. Next we did pit making. We had to shape the sticks into a tee-pee shape. Here's a picture of the process.

Orinteering

For our first survival rotation of the day, we did orienteering. We had to look at a map and find the clues that were marked on the map. Each clue was a letter. You had to unscramble your eight letters to answer this question "What do bears call humans in sleeping bags." We got stumped with the unscrambling the letters part. We had five seconds to go and out of no-where I just shouted "BURRITO!" and Miss Sowden said it was right. I said it because it started with be and that was one of the clues she gave us.
