Finger Prints

Us, being police, have to gather lots of evidence to
find our criminal. Finger prints are very useful
things that we find at every crime scene. Crime
Squad can't solve any crimes without them. All of
us have finger prints. They are the little patterns
on your fingers. Take a close look at your fingers.
They leave a print on everything we touch. You just
can't see them. That's why we have to use a powder
on things the criminal has touched.

This is my finger print. I think it is a loop.  It is hard

to see on the picture. The most common finger print is a
loop. Then a whorl then an arch. Look at this pie
chart!

This is Taylor's finger print.

She thinks she is a loop. Once again it is hard to tell.

The reasons to take finger prints is to collect useful

evidence. Everyone's finger print is different. Even
identical twins have different prints.  It is very
important to wear very good gloves when
examining finger prints. This is so your finger
print doesn't print on the object. Then all the
evidence would point to you so you would go to
jail.
